Description
Dr Oz Manuka Honey is a powerful natural remedy with unique health benefits. Discover how to incorporate it into your daily routine for optimal wellness.
Ingredients
1 cup warm (not hot) water
1 tablespoon Manuka honey (UMF 10+ or higher)
Juice of ½ fresh lemon
Optional: pinch of cayenne pepper or sliced fresh ginger
Instructions
1. Using a digital thermometer, heat water in a small saucepan over medium heat until it reaches 100°F–110°F. Avoid boiling to preserve the honey’s active enzymes.
2. Pour the warm water into a glass or mug. Add the Manuka honey and stir thoroughly with a wooden spoon until it is completely dissolved.
3. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon using a citrus juicer or by hand, ensuring to catch any seeds with a strainer. Add the lemon juice to the honey water and stir again with the wooden spoon.
4. Optional: Using a measuring spoon, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or slice fresh ginger with a chef’s knife and stir gently into the drink for additional benefits.
5. Sip the drink slowly using a reusable straw or directly from the glass, ideally first thing in the morning for maximum wellness benefits.
